Congratulations to our December Facebook Fan of the Month, Shawn Herold. Shawn, 21, is originally from Valdosta, Ga. and currently lives in Columbus, Ga. During the week, he works full time as a car salesman, but on the weekends, he runs Aftershock, a production company which specializes in video, audio and lighting. Shawn is relatively new to the lighting world and said the CHAUVET® products make it so easy for him to learn the elements of lighting. Read on and get to know more about our loyal fan.

1. Favorite CHAUVET® light/product:
Q-Spot 260 LED is easily my favorite product. It’s the best bang for your buck – it’s such a good light for its price. Lights like that usually cost four or five times as much, but this one is so affordable.

2. Favorite CHAUVET® YouTube video:
I didn’t know there was a CHAUVET® YouTube channel.

3. Favorite DJ:
I don’t really have a favorite DJ, but I really respect Nick Pignetti because he gives me great advice for my company.

4. Favorite event/nightclub with lights:
Coldplay concerts — I love concerts with good lighting.

5. Favorite tip for new CHAUVET® DJs:
I’m a new CHAUVET® DJ, but the tip I would give to any aspiring DJ is to have a passion for what you’re doing — the lighting, the music and the crowd.
